In 2019, ANET GROUP pivoted to address a growing need for alternative energy solutions in the telecom space. Telecommunications operators required off-grid power-generation solutions for 3 reasons. First, electrical infrastructure was needed in locations where delivery of a traditional solution from the local power utility was cost-prohibitive. Second, the telecommunications companies recognized that alternative energy solutions could be used offset the cost of power and effectively reduce operating costs. Third, this aligned with corporate initiatives focused on the promotion of green energy and reduction of carbon emissions produced through some types of traditional power generation.

Promoting a green economy is central among ANET GROUP corporate values. A significant portion of ANET GROUP business is now committed to EV charging and green energy infrastructure deployment. We are proud of our recent accomplishments including 3 infrastructure projects completed in 2023 with a combined value of over $10,000,000. These installations are located in remote Ontario communities and include both wind turbines and Solar PV solutions.

The Company’s services include the complete turn key project fulfillment of renewable energy and net-zero construction projects. This includes the structural analysis of existing buildings or the full conceptual design and engineering of new net-zero buildings. In addition to obtaining municipal permits, approvals from the Electrical Safety Authority and Impact Assessments from the utility, ANET GROUP is experienced in the full regulatory environment related to renewable energy projects. The full structural construction, installation, AC/DC electrical implementation, net-metering, SCADA set-up and commissioning of solar power plants is a key area of expertise for ANET GROUP.
