ANET delivered a full electrical service upgrade for the Hopper Lake cell site shelter, installing a new 200 A main service that seamlessly integrates renewable and backup power sources. Our scope included design verification, conductor sizing, and installation of meter bases, switchgear, distribution panels, and grounding systems. We coordinated the interface with photovoltaic arrays, a vertical axis wind turbine, and a propane generator, ensuring automatic source transfer and load management functionality. All conduit runs and terminations were executed to CSA and NEC standards, with arch flash studies and torque testing of all connections. Rigorous commissioning tests—insulation resistance, phase rotation, and functional source switchover—confirmed reliable operation under variable environmental conditions. Delivered under Project Manager Manjinder Toor and Superintendent Ron Bell, this turnkey service upgrade provides continuous, resilient power to this off-grid site.
