Lakeshore's "Charged for Change" Initiative

ANET Fiber Tech Inc. served as the General Contractor for the Municipality of Lakeshore's EV Charger Deployment at 427 Renaud Line Road, Belle River, Ontario. Completed in November 2024 with a project value of $88,000, the scope included full turnkey delivery of two dual-port ChargePoint CP6000 Level 2 EV charging stations.

The project encompassed design-assist support, civil work (trenching, concrete foundation), electrical installation, network integration, and final commissioning. Despite being an active municipal site, ANET ensured zero disruption to public services, maintaining full operational continuity. The project was led by Project Manager Manjinder Toor and Site Superintendent Manpreet Singh, who worked in close coordination with municipal staff for successful execution of this project.

This installation was part of the "Charged for Change" initiative funded by Aviva Canada and Earth Day Canada, which helped offset project costs through a $125,000 grant. The Lakeshore EV deployment, totaling approximately $130,000 across two sites, was celebrated during an Earth Day 2025 launch event.

Now live and accessible to the public at $2/hour via the ChargePoint app, the system enhances the municipality's commitment to clean transportation. ANET's ability to deliver high-quality, grant-supported infrastructure in a public setting underscores its growing leadership in EV charging projects across Ontario.
